The wife of a Texas man accused of killing five of his neighbors was arrested Wednesday, authorities said, after hindering the man's four-day manhunt.
Authorities, acting on a tip, found Oropeza hiding beneath a pile of laundry in the closet of a house after a four-day manhunt. A judge will formally set Oropeza's bond at $5 million on Wednesday when he appears at the San Jacinto County Jail. More than 250 people from multiple jurisdictions had been investigated in a widening dragnet that had offered $80,000 in rewards.
