F1 Calendar Logistics To Be Improved Says George Russell

Following the standalone Australian Grand Prix, GPDA director George Russell believes Formula 1's logistically flawed calendar "will be improved" in the coming years.

Three trips to the Arabian peninsula were made during the 2023 season, including testing trips and Grands Prix in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Afterwards, it headed to Melbourne for a standalone weekend, then to China for another standalone weekend that was canceled because of COVID-19.

Mercedes driver Russell has been vocal in the past about rearranging the calendar to make it more sustainable for employees in his role as GPDA director. In the next few years, Russell believes the calendar will be arranged in a more logical manner due to the drivers' input. However, the results are not yet visible.
